The launch of this year's Summer School is getting under way. Once again the invitation extends to UCA Canterbury School of Architecture and UAL Chelsea College of Art & Design MA ISD, although not exclusively. As those interested begins to take form, the ambition of the projects will gain visibility: to enable events in the space ie gestures to existing structures engaging with variable uses, temporary small structures, personal gestures in response to the landscape and its offerings; furniture, walking through (steps, bridges, shoes), and other as yet unimagined objects. Your own interpretations of this space will inform these gestures.
This text link describes the qualities of the space, its social and environmental recording of the place enabling experimentation and individual responses through inventions of making, while cooking, playing, walking, dreaming, listening...and of course weather.
